Midwest Liberty Federal Credit Union recognizes its responsibility to protect the privacy of our youngest members. Midwest Liberty Federal Credit Union is committed to protecting our young members and other visitors as they visit our website. It is the intent of Midwest Liberty Federal Credit Union to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) that governs and protects the privacy of our youngest members. For purposes of this policy, our youngest members are children under the age of 13.

Guidelines

Midwest Liberty Federal Credit Union may collect information on domain names, dates and times of visits, and the number of page views. This information contains no personal information. It will only be used to keep track of usage of our site, and it will help Midwest Liberty Federal Credit Union to continue to improve the overall value of our site. Visitor information is never sold, given, or discussed with third parties. If young members send us email with their personal information to answer a quiz, submit a story, send a recipe, etc., we will respond to their email as appropriate. We may keep their email address for the purpose of sending information about the kids' section of our website or about Midwest Liberty Federal Credit Union. We will not sell, give, or share their personal information to or with any third-party vendor or any other organization. We will not condition their participation in an activity on the provision of more personal information than is necessary for our young members to participate in the activity. For those parents of a child who has sent emails to Midwest Liberty Federal Credit Union regarding items posted to our website, they will have the right to review the information their child has sent to Midwest Liberty Federal Credit Union. If we collect a child's personal information for the purposes of responding, more than once, to a specific request from the child, the parents have the right to refuse to permit further contact with their child. In addition, they can also require that Midwest Liberty Federal Credit Union delete their child's information.
