Membership Share account

A share account with a minimum balance requirement of $5.00 establishes and maintains your credit union membership, which allows you to use the great products Midwest Liberty has to offer to you as a member. The dividend is calculated on the average daily balance and pays quarterly at a rate determined by the Board of Directors.

Special Share Account

Do you need to save for taxes, a vacation, a new car, a wedding, or any other extraordinary expense? Just deposit to this special account through payroll deduction, in-office deposit, mail, or transfer, and be ready to make your dreams come true or prepare for the unexpected. The dividend rate is the same as the regular share account.

money market account

For Members who carry a larger balance and want to earn a higher rate. Our money market account allows you to earn a higher interest rate while maintaining liquidity. With balances greater than $1,000, you can avoid the $10.00 service charge. In addition, you can make six transactions per statement cycle at no charge, with additional transactions for only $10.00 each.

IRA Shares

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) are a safe and secure way to invest in your retirement. There are two types of IRAs that Midwest Liberty offers: Traditional and Roth. It is a good idea to start investing early on in your career because this allows you to earn more interest over time. Interest = Free Money. However, you can begin saving anytime during your working career.

Club Savings Accounts - BUDGETING MADE EASY.   

Savings is easier when you have a goal and purpose in mind. Having a defined time frame helps you stick to your savings budget.

To help you set aside funds for any special occasion, Midwest Liberty FCU offers a variety of club accounts. You can make deposits with payroll deduction, in-office deposit, mail, or transfer—in any amount, as often as you like.   Each club account earns a higher dividend rate than a regular savings account. Open multiple club accounts for different purposes.

Share Certificate

Are you looking to accumulate stable wealth? A share certificate is a savings account that lets you earn a higher dividend in exchange for a time-length commitment from you not to make withdrawals.


Share Draft Checking

Do you need a no-frills, No-Fee Share Draft Account?

The credit union offers a share draft account with a no minimum balance requirement, no monthly service charge, no per check fee, and provides a detailed monthly statement. You also have a carbonless check copy for your records and link your regular shares (savings) account for overdraft protection. Direct deposit and payroll deduction are available.

Interest-Bearing Share Draft Account

Earn interest on this account with a minimum balance of $100.00. A $5.00 fee is charged per month if the balance falls below $100.00.
