Who We Are

Midwest Liberty Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members. Credit unions were founded on the idea that through a cooperative financial effort, individuals sharing common bonds could benefit. Credit unions promote thrift, and income is passed along to its members in the form of higher dividends on savings accounts, lower interest on loans, or new and improved services.

Midwest Liberty Federal Credit Union was established in 1949. Our credit union is federally chartered and federally insured to $250,000.00 by the NCUA.

Membership

Persons who live, worship, work (or regularly conduct business in), or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities located in the counties of Cheyenne, Decatur, Graham, Norton, Rawlins, Sheridan, Sherman, or Thomas, Kansas; the counties of Chase, Dawson, Dundy, Frontier, Furnas, Gosper, Harlan, Hayes, Hitchcock, Keith, Lincoln, Perkins, Phelps, or Red Willow, Nebraska, a rural district; (Conv. 1/24/2023)

Members of record of the Mid-West Liberty Federal Credit Union as of the effective date of its conversion to community charter on January 24, 2023;

Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union; employees of this credit union; volunteers in the community; members of their immediate family or household; and organizations of such persons.
